Hi!!! First off, i love ur cousins au, it's so cute!!!

But in regards to that, have you thought about including the Mutant Mayhem version of the boys? Like, obviously not while they were kids, since that time period already passed, but like... just imagine the cousins hanging out one day and these kids just. Appear out of thin air or smthn 😭 or even worse, they pop up a lil bit after the whole Superfly situation, all beat up and the older turtles are immediately on their case, checking their shells and stuff, and the kids are like "chill, this is fine" while the cousins are like "NO ITS NOT FINE WTF?!"

Yeah! I did, I actually thought about it from the beginning! I wanted to add them as the youngest but then they’d have to be… literal babies. So - I decided not to, because:

1. Them being babies, who at most can maybe sit - is a very cute idea but it will not bring us too much content.

2. I don’t feel too confident writing them, even as teens anyway.

I didn’t want to just post nothing for the next few days and disappear because of being busy with story planning and an animatic for the post canon part of the Golden heir au soooo here’s some doodles I did a while ago that I finally finished and coloured

Drawing smol Hunter made me sad because he hasn’t gone through most of the horrors yet and has only just become the Golden guard.

Anyway, the doodle on the right is Hunter trying his best to comfort Pip after he didn’t take the fact that Hunter is now the golden guard and is going to be off doing dangerous missions all the time very well.

It also didn’t help that due to being told that wild witches basically merked their whole family and him not being allowed to go outside obviously really messed up Pip’s perception on anything that exists outside the castle so he just assumes that Hunter is just going to die in a horrifying and tragic way if he steps out too far…

No idea if anyone noticed it but the reason why I gave a Pip a sword originally is because of this scene in hollow mind

So I thought it would be cute to reference it by drawing Pip’s younger lil kid self playing with a palistrom sword

On a side note the reason in canon to why Pip originally wanted to learn how to use a sword was because he once got told about knights by Belos who was just humouring him when he asked about the human realm, Pip then thought it was the most coolest way for someone to slay evil doers and wild witches and was like I could totally learn how to use that

So yeah the kid was seven and was already practicing killing wild witches so thank fuck he even got basically adopted by Eda and had a major reality check because if not he would have turned out to be a proper monster jeez

OH MY GOSH ARE YOU KIDDING THESE ARE SO GOOOD!!! I love love love your old stuff!!! The little grouchy faces are hilarious 🤣 and watching your style growing in each picture is so cool!!

My favourite was probably the aggressive Kacchako kiss, that’s how I always picture their first, with Bakugou just going for it 💜💜 I’m assuming that’s from a BurnedStars777 fic (I also love their work and have read all of them so I can’t remember which one it’s from 😂)

I would LOVE to know what your costume redesign would have entailed, even just in words, I’m always curious about other peoples design ideas! Like what were those things on Uraraka’s shoulders? What ideas did you have for Bakugou? Only if you want to though, no pressure.

Since you're curious- I went and did some new rough-ups of the general ideas I had back then.

^ Uravity redesign. Mainly white and blacks with small accents of pink.

A jetpack and boot/calf thrusters to maneuver in the air better. A bit more of a practical helmet with a cute 'halo' look. (Angel face)

She'd overall still have a very cute and round look, but just a lil different!

^ Dynamight redesign. Ripped sleeves, 'handles' on his shoulders + hips (for combo moves with Uravity). Mask slightly altered too.

Biggest change is the gauntlets and gloves that I gave him- open palmed gloves ('cuz the idea would be his explosions would be more potent that way lol. )

Asymmetrical gauntlets- Left side clusters of grenades that could be detached and thrown. Right side a smaller version of his iconic grenade gauntlet. Both gauntlets would have the sweat gathering tubes attached to gather his explosive sweat and store it.

They both would of course still have their matching dots u.u

They're very rough ideas, that I'm sure could be improved upon, but I had fun thinking them up :3

i've been sitting on them bc i wasnt entirely sure about how everyone felt about each other, and while i still am not I feel like everyone likes each other at least!!!

i also wanted to draw people's lambs reliving a bunch of my childhood memories, but i felt the idea wouldn't be accepted because i don't know how many people would related to em. these sketches are new since all i had was a jpeg of thumbnails, but they are @paintpaintpaintman , @spiderin-space , and my lambs!! the first pic is just them enjoying some honeysuckles, trying to buy some candy at the weekend market, and visiting kids in better looking neighborhoods than they lived in AHHSASHHSA i dont think i care to complete this but it is really fun drawing the lambs being lambs.

Zhang Hao likes to think he’s a fairly laid back person.

Or at least, that’s what he likes to think when you’ve been deep in conversation with Jiwoong for the past hour and not spending time with the person who actually invited you over (him).

Okay maybe he isn’t being fair. You’ve also, over the past hour, checked in on him and tried your best to involve him in your conversation. It’s just that Hao is an introvert and today is one of the days where he doesn’t feel like making it a three way conversation. Also they’ve mostly worked it out but he and Jiwoong still have their awkward moments so there’s that too.

“You alright Hào hào?” Well at least he can enjoy the fact you’re using the nickname that only you call him. (Because absolutely no one else is allowed to call him that ever).

“I’m fine, Xiào xiào.”

You had joined Yuehua around the same time, Zhang Hao as an idol trainee while you were preparing to go into acting. To say you were close would be an understatement. You clicked immediately, the other Yuehua trainees would joke that you were Hao’s co-parent with how often you would come over to their dorm with food. 

Hao spent every free day he had off the program with you if both of you weren’t busy. Sometimes you’d even accompany him to visit his subway ads, obviously sporting a mask and hat and keeping it lowkey so as not to draw attention to yourself. While you’ve been an extra or had a line or two for a few drama gigs, you haven’t exactly made your public debut just yet.

It just so happened that you’d be working with Jiwoong on your first minor supporting role in The Good Bad Mother, alongside your actor sunbaenim in Yuehua who had the starring role. The eldest hyung also happened to have quite a bit of experience in acting and you happened to have questions. While your company sunbaenims and teachers were helpful, they were also quite busy and you didn’t want to bother them too much.

“So for kissing scenes-”

Suddenly, Hao’s full attention is on you as you ask his bandmate how one goes about filming such scenes. He’s not dumb. Hao knows once you start getting bigger roles, you might do scenes like that. But dammit, he wants to be your first kiss, not some actor who’s playing your love interest.

“You’ve never been kissed before?”

It’s one of those moments where you’re too tired from the hours and hours of PR training, Hao preparing for Boys Planet and you for the eventual conferences and public appearance you’ll make once you make your acting debut. 

“It’s not that.” You sink into the sofa of the little room you’ve been in for hours, learning how to avoid getting a bad edit on camera. 

“It’s just that none of them really meant anything, you know? It was for fun, for a dare or some shit like that. To figure out whether I liked boys or girls or both. I just don’t think it’s a real kiss, you know?”

“What’s a real kiss then?”

You’re quiet for a bit and Hao’s about to move on with the conversation when you speak again.

“With someone I like. I’d be nice to kiss someone I like. Someone who likes me too.”

I like you, Hao thinks. I’d like to kiss you. 

He could do it. He could offer. But he’s shy and your friendship is only a few months old and he’s going to get shipped off to this Mnet program soon. So instead he says:

“That sounds nice. I’ve never thought of it that way.”

“Maybe because you’re the type to go around kissing everyone, Mr. Campus prince.”

You tease.

“Hey! I wasn’t like that at all.”

Hao protests. You grin mischievously and your conversation devolves back to light, playful back and forth.

But Hao doesn’t forget.

Maybe that’s the day that he decides to try and become the someone you like.

Jiwoong’s hands are on your shoulders. Zhang Hao’s not sure when that happened but he does know that he doesn’t like it.

“So my hands should go here?” You ask, patting Jiwoong's rib cage. He nods, expression completely placid and wholly focused on teaching you how to manoeuvre yourself.

“You can also put it on their waist, the director will be giving you instructions and you can monitor yourself on camera between takes as well.”

You nod thoughtfully, tentatively placing your hands on him. Zhang Hao’s fingers twitch, just a little. Most of the members who had been filtering in and out of the room seemed to have disappeared. It’s just him, you, and Jiwoong.

Which is why you decide to lean in, your face just about a few inches away from the eldest ZB1 member.

“So I just go like this?”

That’s it. Hao’s had enough. He can’t do this. He can’t watch you anymore.

“Xiào xiào?” 

Hao’s careful not to show how happy he is when you pull away from Jiwoong and look at him. His hyung must have sensed it anyway, standing up and saying he’s supposed to meet Seobin soon. You thank him for the help, he says you can text him anytime (Hao’s not sure how to feel about that one) and then he leaves the two of you alone.

“There goes my acting teacher.” You pout a little and Hao can’t help himself.

“You came here to spend time with me, not take lessons from Jiwoong-hyung.” 

“Awww, is Hào hào jealous?”

“I miss you.” He says instead of answering, hugging your side like he usually does.

You hug him back, and in a small voice, you admit.

“I’ve missed you too, Hào hào.”

There shouldn’t be anything special about the moment. You’ve done this before, hugged like this before, said things like this before. But this time, he just-

Hao pulls away, his arms still wrapped around you loosely. It’s just enough so he can see your eyes, looking at him, he can’t read you too well, he swears his heart’s beating so loudly that you can hear it. But you don’t pull away. He leans in.

His lips are soft against yours, you can feel the slightly sticky sensation of the lip balm he uses, taste a little of the tea he was drinking a while ago. It’s warm and nice and it feels perfect.

His arms slide to your waist and your fingers circle around his shoulders, holding onto the fuzzy knit fabric of his cardigan. You can smell the perfumed lotion he uses, pleasantly floral and addicting. He keeps kissing you. You keep kissing back.

Hao only stops when his heart feels like it’s going to give out, catching his breath and looking at you with your flushed cheeks and swollen lips. He can’t help but ask.

“Was that a real kiss?” I like you so, so much.

“I think it was, Hào hào.” I like you too.

- Julius' family, doesn't matter what side, mostly only calls him nicknames and stuff. mostly Jul, Junior, Lil' Julius/Jul, Jul/Julius Junior. they mostly call Senior just Julius.

-- his mom almost only calls him Junior, besides his full name when she's like angry, or stuff like sweetie and dear. she called him Baby Boy a lot when he was a baby/little kid 🫶 she still does it sometimes, and Julius gets embarrassed Every Single Time.

-- his dad mostly calls him Son, My (Little) Guy, Little man and Jul. Young man soooometimes.

•Julius' maternal grandmother is a cat :•]. i'm thinking of her name being like. Felicity.... she's an old Siamese Cat. i'll draw her sometime but basically she's white with small stripes in the dark areas(not including her Old Grandma clothes)

- Jean's fuse moves just like of a cat's actually!!! Senior doesn't have this "tail language" thing, but it does light up when he's really mad.(Jean's doesn't lit without an external force at all)

-- i think it'd be cute if Julius had his own fuse language 😳. like like wagging when happy and shit. he'd absolutely hate it. but idk if I'll actually make it part of my gumball art or not 😭😭😭😭

• when Julius was very young his body was basically. big round head and little bean body. it slowly changed to his current Funny Stick Body with time. i think it'd funny if in da futura gets kind of a upsidedown isosceles-like triangle body + his round. hips?????? he has now idk 👍

- also talking about Julius as a baby. since that time he was a Little Devil. he was not only a troublemaker, but also a drama king and lied way too much(sometimes he didn't even have to lie and lied anyway). if he didn't bite someone at least once, or had a full tantrum in daycare at least 2 times a week. Something Was Wrong.

-- his parents ARE the ones that Will show you his baby photo album even if he begs them not to. he looks like he's crying and/or pissed on most of them. tehehehe.

• Julius is friends with Rotten Cupcake since little kids. and nowadays they're still very close. Evil Besties!!

• (HUMAN. AU.) Senior is mixed, american black + european. he's quite dark in skin, curly hair(that isn't very noticeable since he combs it with lots of hair. clay?) while Jean is very pink-ish pale and has straight hair.

- Julius is almost as pale as his mother. He does have curls in his hair but since he gets it buzzed almost making him Bald it's not very noticeable (he has a rat tail but it's always braided)

• Jean's family side is basically all catholic. Sr.'s have a bunch of family members with different christian religions.

- Julius Jr's parents themselves aren't much of "stricly christians", even if they have some "catholic tendencies" n stuff. Jean's has more of this "tendencies" than Seniour though haha. these two are lgbt allies!!! from a bit of many insistence from Rotten and Julius trying to justify why being Queer. isn't a real sin.

•Julius' uncles and aunts (2 bio uncles from Jean, 3 bio uncles + 2 bio aunts from Sr.'s) that Did have Kids have more than one. there's like two that didn't have any?. sooo yeag he's the only cousin that is an Only Child 😁

So, I didn’t make any art for Odaiba day because I’m a procrastinator, but I thought I’d tell my story of how I got into Digimon because I think it’s kinda funny and personally I like reading stuff like that so I thought at least one person might get a kick out of it.

Obviously gonna put this below the cut because it's a lil long

I had very very passing awareness of digimon before getting into it, like I knew Agumon but didn’t know its name, and I watched part of a random episode as a kid and didn’t like that they talked for some reason, and that’s as far as my knowledge went. But I had a friend who really liked digimon and really wanted me to get into it.

My first real experience was that friend showing me episode 4 of adventure and I was very alarmed that Biyomon was a digimon and not a Chocobo like I thought.

The episode didn’t really sell the series to me, so I didn’t touch the franchise for another couple of years. I gained more passing knowledge through my friend and loved random digimon I thought were funny, mostly Togemon and Bakemon which I lovingly referred to as the “punching cactus” and “teethy ghost”, respectively.

Cut to my friend finds a V-pet at our local game store, so I bought one too because I always wanted a Tomogachi and thought it’d be fun to make our guys fight.

I loved my little guy! I thought little pixel Pagumon and Garurumon were so cute but had no idea what they actually looked like!

Later still, I had an itch to play a monster collector but wasn’t interested in replaying any of the Pokémon games I already owned, so my friend offered to borrow their copy of Next Order. I thought I’d give it a shot especially since I liked some of the V-pet guys.

Oh boy was that a learning curve. The only other monster collector I played was Pokémon so digimon not being exactly like Pokémon confused my small brain. (Wait, so digimon can evolve into whatever, but they also can’t?) (They have canon evolution lines but they also don’t?) (Turuiemon was just made but Lopmon has been around forever??) (MY SWEET PUNCHING CACTUS EVOLVES INTO A WOMAN WHAT.)

Anyway I enjoyed the game but didn’t really interact with the series much, until my friend and I were bored and threw adventure on in the background because I was like “Oh I know some digimon, it’d be cute to see them animated!”

I did think adventure was cute, but didn’t give it much credit at the time. It wasn’t until we moved on to 02 and I was actively sobbing at the end of Ken’s arc that I was like “Wait what, this is actually good????” And insisted we watch every installment of the franchise.

And now we cut to modern day, I’m sitting with my same friend, sweating and violently scribbling on my tablet with a deranged look in my eye, and they’re asking if I’m drawing Ruli’s friends again.

Oh yeah, and happy Odaiba day!!!!

Oh neato new blog!! I enjoy reading peoples different interpretations of characters through x reader imagines, and it’s nice to see another one pop up. oooooh that sounds so fun and cute!! Since it seems like you meant one guy, I’ll do one dude, but a longer post! Usually that’s my form, one person gets a longer post whereas multiple get shorter segments… however long it takes me to adhere to that. Because I have no self control. Anyway, my man of choice for this ended up being Grusha, because some nice and warm fluff should melt that frosty exterior.

And on the romance and found family thing, you are speaking my language fluently, you’re talking to a guy who worships those things in fan content. You can’t!! Go wrong with it!!

Soft as Snow

Grusha x Intimidating Male Reader (who has a kid!)

So. In your relationship Grusha might be a bit uh.

❄️ — Grusha is not a kids guy. Not at all. He’s the literal opposite of sunshine and rainbows. But hosting arguably the most intense and therefore exciting out of Paldea’s gym matches and spending so much time in a snow-covered mountain that is, realistically, so much fun for a kid to go to, he sees a lot of kids. Usually glued to their parents, which he’s grateful for, because rounding up some kid who runs off is about the last thing you can expect him to do successfully. So all in all, he limits his interactions with kids as much as humanly possible, but understands his job puts him around them a lot.

❄️ — A frequent culprit of drawing in rugrats he’d really rather not interact with would be the Cetoddles he looks after. He supposes he can’t blame the kids, they’re pretty cute and definitely not something you see anywhere but the mountain. And that’s exactly what gets him awkwardly interacting with some unknown little girl when he’d rather be doing anything else.

❄️ — A little girl had come to look at one Cetoddle, and with no parents in sight, he had to stay near. So, sighing, he stuffs his hands in his pockets and walks over, making the Cetoddle chirp excitedly when it sees him. He clears his throat and makes some horribly awkward attempts at small talk at this random child, no older than seven, who is just staring at him so intently now.

❄️ — “You, uh… like Cetoddle? Yeah… um. I think he likes you,” he tries, but he’s no… well, any other gym leader, even Larry, would be better at entertaining some random child while phoning the league staff on site that some unsupervised kid is running around.

❄️ — But he never actually has to make that call, because you run up shortly after he hesitantly approaches, frantically calling your daughter’s name. Like good lord, she is so fast. You blink once and she’s gone. You’re pretty fit, but even now you’re sweating profusely from all the times she’s bolted off on you.

❄️ — Grusha just stares at you as you approach, bug-eyed and wondering how the earth didn’t literally rumble as you ran up. Because holy shit, you’re massive. Legitimately built like an Ursaring and for a second he fears for his life and regrets ever approaching this kid thinking she was lost, because he could swear at the speed a guy who looks like you is approaching, you’re about to bite his head off for getting near her. Once again, interacting with kids proves more trouble than it’s worth, considering he’s so sure this is going to genuinely cost him his life. People get rash when it comes to their kids, understandably.

❄️ — But instead, you look at him, then at your daughter and immediately fall into bowing your head muttering thanks and apologies. “Oh, hey, I’m so sorry, she can be so fast when she wants to, I hope she wasn’t pestering you and your Pokemon for too long!”

❄️ — While you’re gently chiding your daughter for running off and imposing on a stranger, he looks from her to you. Then to her. Then to you. She’s not even, like, a quarter of your size. Being a former athlete, he’s seen some built dudes, but you’re giant and he’s still taken aback by how different your attitude was compared to your appearance and how doting you clearly are over your daughter. (A big heart AND nice body? Grusha isn’t even aware of how many of his boxes you tick because he’s just never thought about those things since his accident.)

❄️ — He clears his throat, scratching at the back of his neck awkwardly. “Uh. No problem. She wasn’t causing any trouble.”

❄️ — Both of you awkwardly mumble out some small talk (Grusha really isn’t one for talking and you’re kind of struggling to hold up the conversation), but when he mentions he’s got to get back to the Gym, you’re shocked. Oh! He’s the gym leader?! THE retired snowboarding prodigy?

❄️ — Turns out you and your daughter had just moved to Paldea, and to warm up to your new home, you’re taking her to see a few of the Ten Sights of Paldea. She ran off when she saw the Cetoddle on their hike, though, and you’re pretty surprised you just kind of bumbled into a pretty famous trainer who you’ve seen in a lot of informative pamphlets and ads for the region. It also makes you increasingly apologetic for your daughter imposing on him because he definitely has a job to do, and shouldn’t be pulled away from it.

❄️ — The conversation doesn’t last much longer, and you part ways shortly after. Grusha doesn’t even realize how attractive you are to him, you’ve got his heart thumping but he doesn’t even consider feelings for someone being a reason why. He’s just sort of resigned himself to be alone. But deep down, seeing a man so attractive (like phew. you are FIT.) be so caring and soft is actually really resonating with him. Basically, you’re a type he doesn’t even know he has.

❄️ — He’s a bit surprised when he sees you and your daughter again after a week or two, back on Glaseado. You wave and give him just the sweetest, happiest greeting when you meet again and sheepishly explain that your daughter became fascinated with the local Ice-type Pokemon and had been begging to go out and see them again. (He’s not sure if he can imagine that child emoting. His interactions with her, including now, all she’s done is hug your side and stare blankly at him.)

❄️ — But you’ve done something rare, and like most of his feelings, Grusha doesn’t realize it—you’ve struck a chord with him somehow and he’s too much of a die hard, stubborn loner to understand why. So when you meet for the second time he awkwardly offers to let you and your daughter meet the local Cetoddle pod that he watches over a lot.

❄️ — It’s cute. Seeing someone of your towering stature playing with the Cetoddles, who somehow don’t fear you at all despite how intimidating you are. They’re crazy about you, probably because they see how your daughter interacts with you and just flock to your parental nature. That and your daughter herself just having a good time while you laugh with her, sometimes throwing halfhearted snowballs because you know if you actually tried to could hurt someone with one, and she mostly just wants to pelt you with them than get hit herself. (Kids)

❄️ — The whole time, Grusha’s watching, not even aware of how smitten he is. But someone else is, because after a bit he’s startled by something shaking violently on his poke ball belt, and then with a crack! and no other warning out comes his Altaria, which grabs his scarf in its talons and drags him the hell over to you. When it shoves the flustered Grusha your way, it lands and begins preening itself, instantly capturing your daughter’s attention. (Because what kid wouldn’t want to pet the fluffy cloud bird? Altaria’s cute, and it knows it.)

❄️ — While Grusha’s giving his dirty traitor of a Pokemon the stink eye, you just give this warm and hearty laugh that has his heart doing flips all over again, and pat Altaria on the head. “Aw, this is a friendly one! Isn’t it pretty?” (To which your daughter vigorously nods.)

❄️ — “Uh, yeah, sorry…” he glares at it, and out of the corner of its eye Altaria glares back. “She’s usually not like this. I don’t know what her issue is.”

❄️ — “Haha, it’s no problem!”

❄️ — Then silence. And silence. …And silence. Grusha’s out of things to say, which didn’t take long at all. You cough. He clears his throat. The both of you watch your daughter and his Pokemon play in the snow. He’s only just now realizing how strangely desperately he wants to find something to say to you. And then, while playing with your daughter, Altaria gives him another Look.

❄️ — Oh. Oh, Altaria knew, too. Altaria was trying to bide him time. Well, he couldn’t let his Pokemon companion’s efforts go to waste, as embarrassing as it was…

❄️ — “So, uh…” he clears his throat. “Wanna… come back to the gym with me? Got a coffee machine there. Get something to warm you up.”

❄️ — Your eyes light up and it feels like his heart just got body-slammed. “Hey, that sounds great!”

❄️ — You call your daughter, and he calls his Pokemon, both running at the promise of some hot chocolate from the coffee machine. As you and him are both turning to head back in the direction of the gym, you completely miss a certain interaction nearby.

❄️ — Your daughter tugs on Grusha’s scarf, and when he looks down at her, she gives an unsettlingly blank stare as she studies his face. Finally, as if it’s a complex equation she just solved, she happily announces: “You’re nice.”

❄️ — Oh, uh… thanks? Those are the words Grusha wants to say, at least, but your daughter keeps going with a genuine verbal gut-punch.

❄️ — “I think you and my daddy should get married.”

❄️ — Kids say the darndest things, huh? (You exchange numbers by the end of the day, and who knows… maybe one of you will follow your daughter’s advice some day. But definitely not today. Grusha has to go crawl into the void and die of embarrassment first.)

i'm just saying that these are literally little kids in middle school. i'm not saying that middle school kids don't have relationships, but it's still weird. and from, i'm boutta geek out about this incredibly obscure topic i'm sorry, a developmental standpoint middle grade children are nowhere near psychologically ready to be in a relationship which is why it's extremely rare to see couples who have been together since middle school (that one episode of abbott elementary). if you go on tiktok and look for people who broke up with someone they were in a relationship with from middle school- high school, those breakups are traumatic

all breakups are traumatic in some way, but there have been several people who have developed traits of borderline personality disorder because they broke up with someone they had been romantically involved with since middle school.

"LucLuc, its clean up time!" Kaeya announced, trying to get Dilucs attention. He knew getting his brother to clean up would be a bit of an ordeal, but cleaning up their toys was important before nap time.

Diluc whined at the idea of putting his beloved toys away. He was playing with some of his small plastic animals and their little farm. He still had to let the horses out and feed the cows and-

"Come on, bubby!" Kaeya tried to keep up a cheery attitude for Diluc. The last thing he wanted was to be grumpy with his brother and make him more upset. Knowing nap time was approaching already made Diluc grumpy enough. "You can play with the farm later. Right now is clean up time."

"Bu' moo-moos.." Diluc pouted, pointing to the small group of his cows.

"The moo-moos will be here later, Luc!" Kaeya comforted. He gently set a hand on Dilucs back, making small circle motions to try and calm him. "We need to put them away to keep them safe."

Kaeya finally managed to convince Diluc to put all of his little farm animals away. He wasnt happy about it, but he knew it had to be done. Kaeya helped him out and made sure to praise him after he had finished. It made him giggle slightly as he watched Diluc stare at his farm as he sat on his bed.

"What story should I read, bubby?" Kaeya asked, drawing Dilucs attention away from his farm. He held up two books for Diluc to see. One was a story about a knight that the two had loved as kids, and the other was about a mischievous wolf. Naturally, Diluc picked the knight one. He always had.

Kaeya giggled slightly and nodded, putting the other book back. He crawled into Dilucs bed with him and got all snuggled up with his brother. Diluc watched eagerly as Kaeya opened the book, feeling nostalgic as he saw all of the illustrations.

"Once upon a time..." Kaeya began to read the story to Diluc, telling the story with a suspenseful tone. The two knew the story like the back of their hands, but it still made Diluc squirm and giggle slightly with how his brother read the story to him. It made him feel like he was actually in the story.

Soon enough, the warmth of the cuddling and the feeling of being read to made Diluc feel quite sleepy. Kaeya gently took out the hair tie that held that fiery red hair in a ponytail all day as he neared the end of the story. His hand gently massaged his baby brothers head as another attempt to coax him to sleep. Dilucs small hums were a sign that it was working quite well.

Before Kaeya knew it, he had a sleeping toddler in his arms. He smiled and carefully set the book down, trying not to wake Diluc just yet. He felt proud of himself for getting Diluc to nap so easily. Yet, he forgot that it affected him too in the end. His eyes felt droopy and his body tired. He knew he was going to fall asleep as well. He didnt mind it, though. All that mattered to him was staying by Dilucs side.

"Goodnight, LucLuc.." Kaeya whispered as he finally let his eyes close, swiftly joining Diluc in slumber.

YES my favorite childhood band was sweet! i used to play my dad's old cassette tape of them over and over and over and over and over. it was like a compilation one or something so it had songs like fox on the run and ballroom blitz and action and hell raiser and little willy and wig wam bam and teenage rampage and the six teens, it just had a lot of good songs and i would not stop listening to it every day all day for as long as i was allowed. i used to look at my dad's(now they're mine) old sweet record album covers too, my favorite one to look at was desolation boulevard because i liked steve priest's red hair and i remember trying to figure out who was who, like who was the main singer and everything. i never knew much about them back then but i was so addicted to their music. i was posting them here for a while a couple years ago when i decided to learn more about them. they'll always be one of my favorite bands ever.

Anyway introducing the Princess and her former Prince of SuperStar DayCare. Said former Prince is now part of the rock show in the Atrium and Rockstar Row.

Princess Marguerite is a Bat-Swan Chimera

Prince Resolve Riff Raff is a Bat.

The Lore (because there's a bit) is gonna be put under a Read More for tidy reasons. :)

Marguerite, Resolve and one another animatronic (A bird themed one named Clarity.) are all part of the "Fairytale Theatre Troupe" to match the jester theme of the Daycare Attendant while also tying in with the animal animatronics of the Glamrocks. The Fairytale Theatre Troupe were meant to help keep the young kids entertained and perform at the daycare theatre while kids were there.

Unfortunately for the Fairytale Troupe, their Prince kept wandering into the Atrium to watch the Glamrocks, and the staff usually had to grab the Princess who was the only one who could get him to return to Daycare without much fuss. (which usually only lasted a few minutes and then he'd be right back.)

Eventually the Staff got frustrated and no amounts of trying to correct the programming ever fixed this weird "bug", so instead they changed his parts and Resolve now goes by Riff Raff and is one of the animatronics that play later in the day for the older/teen demographic kids.

Meanwhile Marguerite still performs with Clarity who's still part of the troupe, but sometimes she can be seen in the "glamrock" form she has and wander the atrium to go visit her former prince.

(Unfortunately Mar isn't usually allowed into the Atrium often cus she spends way too much time watching the other animatronics when she gets the chance.)

Meanwhile Riff's sunglasses and make up (those pink streaks on his cheeks) are used to cover up the hearts that are from his former design as Fairytale Prince. Bit hard to be a Cool Rockstar tm when you got hearts tattooed all over.

Thoughts on wendsday i just finished it im so glad i took some time away from being busy to watch it ! I inflicted my thoughts on my discord friends even thou no one asked so here i am inflicting you with my thoughts even thou no one asked lmao (Spoilers ahead!)

In general:

I absloutely loved the show even if it wasn't exactly accurate or true to the original characters. Its still very complex and has amazing story telling, thou im not sure diminishing the addams "kookienss" was good or not. I suppose sincei always saw the " from inside of the family to outside world" pov it seemed like the addams were the most " absurd and different" thing in thier world but now we have a " the outside world looking at the addams" pov its very different how the world sees them than how they think the world sees them which i geuss is very realistic for anyone thats "different" in any sort of way.

On Wednesday:

Anyway im conflicted alittle about Wednesday halfway she sorta became a veronica mars type of character and it wasn't really on brand of her to just stop enjoying the murder and evil and just become angry vengeful instead. I like that in the end she understood that her kookiness wasn't the problem its that the people around her were different and didn't consent/ sign up to that as she never asked just assumed they would be okay like her family is okay with her.

The rest of the characters:

The rest of the characters are all amazing i love how fleshed out everyone is even minor characters like yoko or the ones who dont get lines at all still alot of backstory and character.

My absloute faves are bianca and Xavier i was team Xavier from the start lmao i genuinely shipped them together cause like the first person to make her smile was him like come on now lmao also i hope they explore more how connected he and Wednesday are i loved that his art and dreams totally backed up her visions also the whole raven thing he keeps drawing is 👀👀👀

Im absloutely interested in Bianca's story i hope that we get more of it soon and not just a few scenes here and there.

Pugsly is such a cute weird lil kid lmao i usually dont like him but here i liked him alot. Gomez was perfect and i could see alot of him in Wednesday. Morticia at the start was just off even if her dialog was great by the second vist i could see they made her more deathly paler and her mannerisms was adjusted a lil and she became Allright. Im not sure about the lil backstory the addams had because source material wise i thought they met at her sister arranged marriage to gomez but alright i guess they went to school together 🤷🏻‍♀️

I hated Tyler from the start cause of the way he spoke without moving his mouth it was wierd like he was constipated lmao kinda thought halfway he was the monster because he just looked like him alot lmao

I still have no idea why Enid's name backwards is Dine or if its even relevant at all but i love her character she is kooky in her own way reminds me of the sub genre of Alternative fashion like pastel goth or pink lolita still very Alternative but colorful i love it

On the set, coloring and costumes:

Genuinely always my favorite thing about burton movies ( f him thou glad i pirated this) but im so happy to see some directors still use real sets and not shy away from the clutter and details i had to pause several times in one scene to take it all in and notice all the little details its amazing.

The most fascinating thing about this this the use of color ( not just lighting) but the different sets rooms having specific color themes like the window in Wednesday's room alone is the most beautiful piece of story telling ever in every scene but also somthing like the therapists office being completely biege is an amazing touch.

The costumes are okay there were moments that stood out but nothing crazy Wednesday's raven dress was ofc incredible but i like her last dress in the last scene too love the lace collar! But also the rest of the costumes were beautiful too. Im still trying to figure out the materials of Morticia's dress and how its constructed lol

And i think thats all ! I hope they really do make season 2 and stick to it (pointing a gun at netflix rn)

Gives nose/forehead kisses: Fran obviously 💖 although I can see Artie giving him lil pecks when he's sad or tired - just coming to engulf Fran in his arms and press his lips against his worried lil forehead. Of course, the odd soft lil nose kiss first thing in the morning, that’s also adorable.

Gets jealous the most: Arthur. Like I said, he's an insecure, anxious lil guy and I imagine Fran is constantly reassuring him. That's not to say Francis doesn't get jealous either, I just think that while Arthur sees anyone as a threat, Francis will be really intimidated by certain people in particular. Like those he sees acting particularly soft with Arthur - he thought he was the only one who got to be soft with that grumpy little gremlin ! >:’(

Takes care of on sick days: overworking RT Chan strikes again 😩 like take a break before Fran forces you to take a break.

Drags the other person out into the water on beach day: do I even need to say? The image of Arthur clad in T-shirt and knee length swimming trunks reluctantly being dragged towards the sea by Fran all sunny smiles is SO clear in my mind. Perhaps I need to draw this...

Brings the other lunch at work: Francis. But I also think that Arthur would bring some form of takeaway to Fran because he knows he won't eat otherwise. Like just bringing him a sandwich and coffee from Pret and then he does the James Acaster bit like 'I like to manger un sandwich' and Francis rolls his eyes but he laughs anyway and please they are so CUTE.

Tries to start role-playing in bed: we all know they'd both be into the nastiest freak shit, but honestly I'm not sure who would initiate it. I can imagine, in the heat of the moment, Francis being like 'choke me' and Arthur obliges with suspicious vigour and later they're both like 👀👀

Embarrassingly drunk dancer: Arthur, it's always gonna be RT. And I think his dancing gets progressively worse with every drink he has ajsjsjs

Why is this guy forcing his boyfriend to foxtrot in the middle of a club?

Oh dear lord he's twerking.

Firmly believes in couples costumes: ofc I think Fran is the queen of dressing up (I mean he's out every Saturday night in the club in full drag) and Arthur thinks dressing up is for kids. But once Fran gets him into it, he adores it. Like this is the man who goes to battle reenactments in historically accurate chainmail. He may pretend to be above it on Halloween, but this man loves dressing up and he needs to admit that so he can have the fun he deserves by dressing up like an evil wizard and scaring children.

Breaks the expensive gift rule during Christmas: I think they both would. Francis would initially (he can't help it, he is a man of expensive taste) and since Arthur has come to expect this, he will also go all out and try to outdo Francis. Only these 2 could turn gift giving into a competition.

Makes the other eat breakfast: they are the type of couple that has to force each other out of bed in the morning. It's more like brunch at that point and it's basically just Francis telling Arthur to at least bring a slice of toast with his flask of tea on the way out and Arthur reminding Francis he needs something besides a cup of coffee and a cigarette.

Remembers anniversaries: neither of them are good at this so maybe they've just given up. Equally, they have to plan anything months in advance if they want to do something on a special occasion because I think they're both a little scatterbrained. Fran because that's just who he is and Arthur because this man is so stressed. Seriously, someone get him some help.

Brings up having kids first: I see Arthur being similar to Alasdair in that, even if it sucked at times, he looks back on his childhood with fondness and part of it is because he had such a big family and I think he wants to recreate that with Francis. He wants to be a dad 🥺

Kills the bugs: Arthur ajsjd the spider fiend.

First to define them as a couple: I think they would get off to a rocky start no matter the au but once they've settled, I think that Arthur would be kind of shy and anxious about speaking too soon and Francis would recognise that and voice what they were both thinking. (That they are in love 💗)
